Hiring Performance Improvement Ltd is a consultancy that evolved from the experience of spending sixteen years working at the cutting edge of industry and commerce; pioneering methodologies to improve the performance of companies and organisations through effective hiring, in an evolving and ever-changing labour market.
The private partnership and companies led by principal consultant, Peter Schofield, have held over one million career-based conversations with individuals, across a diverse range of sectors and disciplines, hearing exactly why they really leave and join companies.
The understanding of human motivators in job-change situations that have resulted from this experience, supported by rigorous rich data research initiatives, have been the foundation of the Opportunity Management processes. By following these, his operational teams helped over six hundred private and public sector employers to employ thousands of key people on a permanent or interim basis; clients ranging from owner-managed start-up operations, to some of the worlds most prominent brands such as BMW, Nissan and Siemens to name but a few.
Often described as a visionary in hiring practice, as early as 1989, Peter recognised an impending skills crisis and began to develop Opportunity Management as a series of processes which could be utilised as a palliative treatment against the pains of skills shortages that all employers would one day inevitably face.
Peter sold his specialist search business in order that he may focus all of his efforts on helping employers understand and develop their own unique, competitive advantage through hiring practice.
